Developed an innovative apparel education platform tailored for high school and college-aged audiences, fostering an understanding of fashion, product design, and industry trends. Conducted in-depth product reviews and wear tests, evaluating apparel quality, performance, and fit to identify gaps in the market and improve design concepts. Established a comprehensive fabric library, curating fabric swatches and detailed technical information to support product development and enhance educational resources. Designed and implemented small-batch capsule collections, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail while introducing consumers to premium, thoughtfully constructed apparel.
Our Story
I have always been passionate about fashion, with footwear being my first love and the foundation of my creative journey. This passion led me to my dream role at Puma, where I served as a Product Line Manager on the global running and training apparel team. There, I gained invaluable experience in understanding the intricate process of launching a global apparel line, from market research to collaboration with designers, developers, and fabric experts.
Through this journey, I recognized the need to inspire and educate high school and college-aged individuals about the diverse opportunities within the fashion industry. Whether it's working as a color manager, fabric developer, or product designer, there’s a place for everyone to follow their passion in this dynamic field. This realization fuels my current efforts to bridge the gap between young aspiring talent and the endless possibilities the fashion world has to offer.
By the end, The Authentic Thread will either provide me with the platform and expertise to launch a global brand or position me as an influential voice within the fashion industry. Whether through building my own brand or contributing to an already globally dominant force, my ultimate goal is to leave a meaningful and lasting impact on the world of fashion.
